Stephanie Jones, D.V.M.
Dr. Stephanie Jones is co-owner of the Animal Hospital of Ft. Lauderdale. A native of Arkansas, she received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Texas A&M in 1994 and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Florida in 1999. Dr. Jones moved to Ft. Lauderdale after graduation and joined the Animal Hospital of Ft. Lauderdale team in 2000. Dr. Jones is an equity partner at Ft. Lauderdale Animal Hospital where she became an astute hospital administrator managing customer relations, implementation of strategic plan initiatives, crisis management and employee relations. For the past year, Dr. Jones has served as president of the Executive Board, Broward County Veterinary Medical Association and has been a standing member of the Veterinary Medical Association since 1999. A long-time philanthropist, Dr. Jones founded Pets Help the Heart Heal in 2019 and serves as President of the Board of Directors. The organization provides therapeutic animal support and introduces young people to careers in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Debra Allen, D.C.E., S.C.C.T.
Dr. Debra Allen is a graduate of Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Science in Education, and a Specialist in Community College Teaching with an emphasis in Business Education. She received a Doctor of Christian Education from Central Christian University.
An educator by profession, Dr. Allen has over 30 years of experience in higher education teaching, administration, and grant writing. Over the years, she has been instrumental in establishing educational institutions including Plantation Christian University (now the University of Ft. Lauderdale), Destiny Christian University, and Haiti Tech in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Dr. Allen wears many hats. She is a motivational speaker, visionary, facilitator, grant writer, church planter, businesswoman, and nonprofit leader. Additionally, she is the founder/CEO of New Hope World Outreach, a church/nonprofit organization in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. New Hope World Outreach works with youth, providing a grant funded academic enrichment camp, and teaching Life Skills for Teens. She is on the Board of Directors of Destiny Ministries an provides oversight to ministries in Florida and Georgia. She is the author of two books, Forty Days of Prayer Thy Will Be Done and Reach-Destiny Awaits.
Through her business, Strategic Resources and Solutions, Inc., Dr. Allen conducts seminars in grant writing, leadership development, church governance, strategic planning, and church management. Her greatest love is the study and teaching of the Word of God and imparting that love to her students.
Chandria D. Jones, Ph.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Chandria Jones is a Senior Study Director at Westat and Founding Partner at Strategic Resources & Solutions, Inc. She conducts research and evaluation in public health focusing on youth-related areas such as behavioral health, homelessness, obesity, health disparities, and health communication. Her research focuses on social and environmental determinants of health for vulnerable populations such as racial and ethnic minorities, low-income youth and families, and individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Dr. Jones bring a lens of racial equity, diversity, and inclusion to her with work a particular commitment to use-oriented evaluation leading to social justice and health equity.
Dr. Jones has several years of community service experience with youth, families, and communities in areas such as homeless services, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, and youth ministry. Other volunteer commitments include being an active member of Xi Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Transit Youth Leader and member of the Health and Wellness Committee at Kingdom Fellowship AME Church, mentor for the, mentor for the Career Experience Opportunities (CEO) program at The Universities at Shady Grove (USG), and member of the African American Health Program Executive Coalition.
She is serves on the following boards: University of Maryland School of Public Health Alumni Network; New Hope World Outreach (Secretary), Debra Allen Ministries, Destiny Christian University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and God’s Ladies of Significance and Service in Atlanta, GA.
E. Elizabeth Pinnock, M.B.A., MSHRM, SPHR
Elizabeth “Liz” Pinnock is the Compensation & Classification Manager for the City of Miramar as well as the Principal Managing Director of The PinnockHR Group, a Human Resources Management (HR) Consulting firm. Elizabeth hails from the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica W. I. and was raised knowing the importance of obtaining a good education and working hard to pursue your goals and dreams. Elizabeth is a two-time graduate of the University of Central Florida holding bachelor’s degrees in both Organizational Communication and Legal Studies. In addition, Elizabeth holds two master’s degrees, an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Masters’ of Science degree in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) from Troy State University. Elizabeth is a certified Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR), and a certified résumé writer.
Having built a dynamic 20+ -year career in the contingent workforce industry and the field of HR in areas of recruiting & talent acquisition, compensation, training, diversity, labor/employee relations, and leadership, spanning from Florida to Georgia and even the Caribbean, Elizabeth has identified a gap in many areas of the Human Resources sphere and has targeted high school and college students by facilitating Career Coaching Workshops. In doing so, she is frequently called upon to participate as a panel member and speaker at various high schools, colleges, universities, professional organizations and community events, where she shares her knowledge and expertise.
